Who this covers
Sittr is an iPhone app for sitters to manage families they sit for, track timesheets, and create invoices. This site is a public informational site. We do not require an account to read these pages. The app does not use advertising SDKs, does not collect Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Where data is stored
App data is stored in Google Firebase for project sittr-481ab:
- Firebase Authentication — your account, email, and Google or Apple sign-in identity
- Cloud Firestore — profile, families, sitting types, timesheets, invoices, and related app content under your user ID
- Cloud Functions — including deleting your Firestore data after you delete your account
Information we collect
Data in the app is collected to run the product (accounts, families, timesheets, and invoices). We do not use that data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not use advertising SDKs.
Account (Firebase Auth, Google, Apple)
You can create an account with:
- Email and password (Firebase Authentication)
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple
Depending on the method, that typically includes an email address, a user ID, and a display name from the sign-in provider. There is no guest or anonymous mode. Sign-in tokens are processed by Google or Apple when you choose those providers, then used to create or link your Firebase Auth user.
Profile
You may provide:
- Name
- Email address associated with the account
- Phone number
- Mailing address (street, city, state, ZIP)
Profile details you enter can appear on invoices and on PDFs you generate and share from the app.
Families and sitting work
You may also create and store:
- Family names
- Parent and child names for each family
- Sitting types (for example babysitting or mother’s helper), including hourly rates or flat-rate settings
- Timesheets (dates, start/end times or flat fees, billable hours, earnings, invoiced status)
- Invoices (selected timesheets, totals, paid status, and related metadata)
Invoice PDFs are generated on your device so you can download or share them through the iOS share sheet. Sittr does not upload those PDFs to our servers as part of the share flow.
What we do not collect
- Photo library contents or camera photos
- Location / GPS history
- In-app purchases or payment card details (the app has no payments)
- Push notification tokens (the app does not use push messaging)
- Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA)
- Third-party advertising identifiers for tracking
- Health or Apple Health / HealthKit data
How we use information
- Create and secure your account
- Provide families, sitting types, timesheets, and invoices
- Generate invoice PDFs you choose to create and share
- Respond if you email us
Processors and third parties
We use:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Functions to run the app
- Google — Sign-In if you choose it
- Apple — Sign in with Apple if you choose it
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party ads in the app. We do not collect IDFA, so we do not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app: open Profile and choose DELETE ACCOUNT. You will need to confirm and re-authenticate with your password. That deletes your Firebase Authentication user. A Cloud Function then permanently deletes associated Cloud Firestore data for that user ID, including:
- Profile information
- Families, family members, and family sitting types
- Global sitting types you created
- Timesheets and invoices
Deletion is permanent for that account’s Firestore data. PDFs or messages you already shared outside the app are not controlled by Sittr. We may retain information if required by law or to resolve a dispute.
If you cannot open the app, email support@getsittr.com from the address on the account and we will help you with deletion. See also Support.
Data retention
We keep account and sitting data while your account exists so the app can function. After you delete your account, we delete that user data as described above. We may retain information if we are required to by law or to resolve a dispute.
Children
Sittr is not directed at children under 13 and is not in Apple’s Kids Category. The app is for sitters managing their own work; family member names you enter are provided by you as the account holder. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 as an account holder, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- You can edit profile, family, timesheet, and invoice data in the app
- You can delete families, timesheets, and invoices you control
- You can delete your account as described above
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email support@getsittr.com to make a request. We will need enough information to verify it is your account.
This website
This site is static informational pages (home, privacy, terms, and support). It does not use an account or advertising cookies. It does not currently use analytics scripts.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
